EDUCATION
Stream 1 only:
Secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
Stream 2 and 3:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization relevant to the positions.
EXPERIENCE
All Streams:
Experience collaborating with clients to develop strategies or plans.
Experience in analyzing and consolidating data from various sources and developing options.
Experience providing advice and recommendations to management.
Experience with financial management systems and spreadsheet applications such as Excel.
Stream 1 only:
Experience supervising staff.
Experience in recruitment or marketing.
Stream 2 only:
Experience in preparing a wide range of written documentation for managers such as strategic planning documents, briefing notes, memoranda, or presentation decks.
Experience in coordinating human resources planning activities for an organization.
Significant* experience in supervision including management of employee work tasks, leave, coaching, discipline, training plans, or performance evaluation.
*Significant experience refers to the depth and breadth of experience normally achieved through the performance of duties on a regular basis (a minimum of two years’ experience within the last five years).
Stream 3 only:
Experience writing plans, reports, memos, presentations or speaking notes for senior management.
Experience leading discussions, consultations or committees.
Experience in liaising and consulting with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
ASSET EDUCATION:
Stream 1 only:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications or some other specialty relevant to the position.
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
Stream 2 only:
Experience in post-secondary education administration.
Stream 3 only:
Experience in policy development.
Experience working with the Government of Canada.
