The mission of the Public Service Commission (PSC) is to promote and safeguard a non-partisan, merit-based and representative public service that serves all Canadians. Our team is the business steward of the Government of Canada’s (GC) recruitment and staffing system. We are currently taking on the exciting challenge of transforming this system. Our goal is to establish a modern, user-centric, accessible and intuitive job application system that will deliver quality applicants to departments and agencies now and in the future.
We also provide business improvement services to internal clients, including project management and business analysis support.

You will work in a healthy environment that offers great work-life balance, a modern building in downtown Gatineau with gyms and cafés just a few steps away, access to showers, bus routes and bike/jogging paths nearby. Like to work standing up or sitting down? You choose. It is also WI-FI ready, you can work anywhere in the building, including at our Active Work Stations, equipped with a treadmill or a stationary bicycle.
The results of this process will initially be used to staff these positions indeterminately. A pool of qualified candidates will also be established and could be used to staff similar positions with various tenures within the Public Service Commission in the National Capital Region.

Your résumé.
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
Experience working in Information Technology (IT) projects or supporting operational systems.
Experience in working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experience preparing reports.
Experience delivering presentations.
Experience leading client sessions, analyzing requirements and providing recommendations.
Experience in analyzing data and formulating recommendations.
Experience designing graphical interfaces, prototypes, or mock-ups.
Experience planning and conducting user research or usability testing.
Experience using Agile methodology.
Experience developing project planning artifacts.
Various language requirements
Bilingual Imperative: CBC/CBC, BBB/BBB
