The intent is to staff one (1) position on an indeterminate basis at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC). EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in analyzing qualitative data, including text or social analytics.
• Experience in analyzing quantitative data using longitudinal or administrative datasets.
• Experience in developing and maintaining databases.
• Experience in participating to the production of reports or decks for senior management*.
• Experience using Excel to produce statistical reports, tables and charts.
*Senior management includes director level and up.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience using a statistical analysis software (SAS, SPSS, or STATA) or other data reporting tools.
• Experience in administrating or analyzing, and reporting survey results.
• Experience participating on concurrent projects.
KNOWLEDGE:
• Knowledge of the development of performance measures to report on human resources management results.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

• Knowledge of the development of databases and their methodologies.

• Ability to analyze human resources data to identify trends and key issues.
