Your résumé.
Education:
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
NOTE: Indeterminate incumbents of PE positions on October 1, 1999 who do not possess the education level prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standard based on their education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
• Experience in providing strategic advice, writing and presenting briefing material to senior executives on human resources initiatives.
• Experience in leading and coaching HR Advisors in achieving results.
• Significant experience in talent acquisition (e.g. managing staffing and recruitment processes).
• Significant experience in at least one of the following HR disciplines: Official Languages, Employment Equity, Classification, or Labour Relations.
• Experience in leading change initiatives or projects.
• Significant and recent experience working with the Public Service Employment Act in a federal government context.
• Experience managing human and financial resources.
Asset Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in a field related to the duties.
• Experience in Official Languages Programming
• Experience in analysis of Employment Equity data
• Experience recruiting executives
• Experience developing talent pipelines or career paths
• Experience analyzing information and data from various sources to interpret it in a context that is meaningful for management.
• Experience working in or with a corporate human resources office.
