Duties

The employee is responsible for program coordination activities that include analytical, statistical, communication and administrative functions related to student and graduate recruitment programs. The work involves coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. The responsibilities also include providing information to HR representatives, managers of federal government departments and the general public about how our recruitment programs work, as well as about the associated policies, guidelines and procedures.

Our offices are located at 22 Eddy Street, Gatineau (QC). The PSC offers its employees:

Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff a determinate position, for a period of one year with a possibility of extension, on a part-time basis (3 days per week).

A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures and language requirements within the Public Service Commission.

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

Note: The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
• A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
• An acceptable combination of education, training and / or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience in coordinating a program or a project.

Experience in responding to inquiries from clients or stakeholders.

Experience in writing reports or working documents.

Experience in data analysis.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience in coordinating a human resources program or a human resources project.

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)
