We strongly encourage candidates to submit their applications on-line.
Following are some of the benefits associated with applying on-line:
• Candidates can create and manage their accounts in the Public Service Resourcing System (PSRS) and apply to job opportunities as long as an internet connection is available.
• Candidates can create a profile and retrieve stored application(s) (personal information, covering letter and résumé) previously submitted and modify them, if necessary, before submitting the application.
• Candidates can modify their application/resume at any time BEFORE the closing date indicated on the job advertisement.
NOTE: In order to have your application considered, all screening questions must be answered for a maximum of 4000 characters per question. Candidates must provide CONCRETE EXAMPLES which demonstrate how they meet the education requirement and the experience factors listed in the essential qualifications and asset qualifications. Please note that it is not sufficient to only state that the requirement is met or to provide a listing of current responsibilities.
Canada’s Volunteer Awards is a national volunteer recognition program. Canadians use an online system to nominate individuals, not-for-profits and businesses and assess nominations. In addition, program employees use the online system to manage information, produce statistics and communicate broadly with external stakeholders. Currently, the online system is being re-designed.
