As a Senior Program Advisor with the PNR, part of your role will be to assess funding applications, prepare recommendations for approvals, draft contribution agreements and administer payments. You will meet with current and potential program clients as well as with other internal colleagues and external organizations. Intent of the process

A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established from this selection process and may be used to staff similar positions with different tenures (acting, assignment, deployment, indeterminate, secondment, specified period), with various linguistic profiles (such as Bilingual Imperative level BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC or English Essential) and various security clearances (Reliability or Secret) within the Department of Canadian Heritage in the Prairies and Northern Region.

(EX2) Experience developing collaborations, partnerships or special initiatives with not-for-profit organizations or government departments/agencies.

(ASSET2) One (1) year or more of experience in preparation of grant applications (applying for funding) or delivering grants and contributions programs (delivery of funding) with community or government organizations.

(ASSET3) One (1) year or more of experience working with, for, or on behalf of Indigenous organizations or governing bodies.
