Intent of the process

A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established and may be used through this process to staff similar positions with various tenure (term, indeterminate, *acting) within the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada.

* Should the selected candidate already be a public servant, the pool could also be used for acting appointments.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:

- A secondary school diploma or acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

- Experience working in warehouse and distribution functions.
- Experience disassembling, moving and re-assembling systems furniture. (such as senior management wood furniture, Teknion, Steelcase and Haworth).
- Experience in data entry in Microsoft office systems (excel, word, etc).
- Experience in the operation of Material Handling Equipment (ie; pump trucks).
- Experience to read Autocadd plans.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Asset qualifications:

- Experience with software such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Experience supervising the work of subordinates

Operational Requirements

Must be willing to work occasional overtime;
Must be willing to work and/or instruct contractors;

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance - - Possess and maintain a valid unrestricted provincial passenger vehicle driver’s license
- Must be able to wear CSA approved safety footwear and other personal protective equipment as required
- Must be willing and able to lift, carry, move and rearrange supplies, materials, tools, furniture and appliances weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
