This process will be used to fill vacant positions located at 2745 Iris Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established within Public Services and Procurement Canada and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (including Indeterminate / Term / Assignment / Secondment / Acting) and/or various linguistic requirements (including English Essential, English or French Essential, Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC and CCC/CCC). Should the selected candidate already be a public servant, the pool could also be used for acting appointments.

Education:
Secondary school diploma.
Experience:
Significant experience (1*) in conducting complex (2*) security related investigations and interviews
Experience in providing advice and guidance to management on security related matters
Experience in investigative case management
Experience in writing reports or briefing notes to management
Required for Chief, investigations positions only:
Experience in supervision
1* - Significant experience is considered significant in terms of degree of depth, scope, complexity and duration. Candidates would normally be expected to have developed significant experience over multiple years (minimum 5 years).
2* - Complex is defined as including the following characteristics: multidimensional, multiple information to be analyzed, sensitive or confidential.
Education:
2 year post-secondary education in a field related to the position being staffed.
Experience:
Experience in developing program-related operational policies, procedures and guidelines
Experience in counterintelligence and humint
Experience in evidence based procédures
