EDUCATION
Secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
Recent* experience in delivering services to the public.
*Recent is defined as two consecutive years in the last five years.
Experience using computerized systems for tracking and ordering.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of the regulations governing the use of research materials and facilities;
Knowledge of the client services offered by Library and Archives Canada.

Experience in delivering services to the public in a cultural environment such as museums, libraries and/or archives.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willing and able to regularly work between different service points.
Willing and able to occasionally work in LAC offices located in Ottawa and in Gatineau.
Willing and able to work occasionally on Saturdays.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Security: Reliability clearance for casual employment
Secret clearance for a term or indeterminate employment
Willing and able to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Willing and able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 20 kg.
