• Ensure computer-related expertise during the inspection or investigation process in order to find or recover evidences which enables moving forward on files;
• Provide interpretation, information and functional guidance and direction to program officers on processes, compliance and monitoring;
• Analyze and resolve issues related to compliance and regulatory requirements;
• Lead and participate in committees, project teams, working groups, initiatives, investigations and projects;
• Assess the impact of new and revised policies and the effect on service delivery;
• Prepare briefings and reports on program activities and issues;
• Conduct complex inspections and investigations related to the enforcement of legislation.
This process will be used to fill a position within the Web, Social Media & Investigation Unit. The Web, Social Media & Investigations Unit mandate is to conduct inspections online and investigations of businesses or individuals to ensure compliance with the Tobacco Act.

Education
• Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in the legal field AND in computer science, information technology, cyber investigation, computer forensics (other possible certifications in francophone universities: cyberfraude, cyberenquête).
During the evaluation process, candidates will be required to provide copies of their diplomas.
Experience:
*Recent AND significant experience in computer forensics, including Web/Social Media platforms and with inspection/investigation forensic softwares.
Experience in interpretation and enforcement of legislations and regulations.
Experience in providing advice and guidance to management.
Experience in preparing and/or providing training.
*Recent experience is defined as work experience acquired within the past five years.
*Significant experience is defined as the breadth and depth of experience normally associated with performing these duties full-time for a minimum period of 1 year.
Experience:
