EDUCATION
All Streams:
EDU – Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
Note:
1. Indeterminate period incumbents of positions in the CS group on May 10, 1999, who do not possess the education prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standards based on their education, training and/or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum education standard whenever this standard is called for when staffing positions in the CS group.
2. It is the recognized educational institution (e.g. community college, CÉGEP or university) that determines if the courses taken by a candidate correspond to two years of a post-secondary program at the institution.
3. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may serve as an alternative to the minimum post-secondary education stated above. Whenever the minimum education is met using this alternative, it is met for the specific position only and must be re-assessed for other positions for which this alternative has been specified by the manager.

EXPERIENCE
All Streams:
EX1 – Significant* experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams on IM/IT projects.
EX2 – Significant* experience delivering IM/IT products or services
Streams A & B:
EX3AB – Significant* experience analyzing client requirements to implement IM/IT solutions
EX4AB – Significant* experience in gathering and documenting information technology requirements from clients or stakeholders
Stream A only:
EX5A – Experience working in a project manager role for IM/IT projects
Stream B only:
EX5B – Significant* experience in providing client engagement services including identifying and analyzing to current and future client needs
Stream C only:
EX3C – Significant* experience completing business analysis or architectural design functions in support of IM/IT projects or initiatives
Stream D only:
EX3D – Experience leading a team or supervising staff of at least three (3) persons, including assigning duties to staff.
*Significant is understood to mean the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of complex related activities for a minimum of three (3) years.
ASSET EDUCATION
AEDU – Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in Computer Science.

AOCU1 – Enterprise Architecture certification (such as TOGAF).
AOCU2 – IIBA Certification (ECBA or CCBA).
AOCU3 – Project Management Professional (PMP).

ASSET EXPERIENCE
AEX1 – Experience providing support to the management of business transformation initiatives in the Government of Canada.
AEX2 – Experience with architecture modeling and repository tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or QualiWare.
AEX3 – Experience in applying the tools and practices of Application Portfolio Management.
AEX4 – Experience in producing Architecture related deliverables, such as (but not limited to):
. business capability models
. high-level business models
. high-level or conceptual data models
. architectural roadmaps
. solution architecture models
AEX5 – Experience in managing commercial off the shelf applications such as (but not limited to) GCDOCS, RDIMS, Assyst, ETC.
AEX6 – Experience in managing an application through its Software Development lifecycle.
AEX7 – Experience in managing developed applications in either Java, .net or other popular coding language.
AEX8 – Experience in managing Content Management applications such as Drupal, SharePoint or other.

We are currently seeking to staff Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC and BBB/BBB) and/or English or French Essential positions. However, a pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various language requirements.
