Intent of the process

This is an anticipatory process aiming to create a pool of qualified candidates. This pool may be used to staff positions for indeterminate, specified period, or acting appointments in the Saskatchewan Region.

Education:
-Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience defined as a secondary school diploma and two (2) years of experience in lands, economics, law, business administration, commerce, public administration or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed

Degree equivalency

Experience:
-Experience in providing advice on program administration services.
-Experience in researching and analysing information, developing options and recommendations.

-Knowledge of Indigenous or northern issues.
-Knowledge of the federal legislation, regulations and/or policies affecting federal Crown land.

Education:
-Successful completion of a post-secondary degree in one of the following areas: land use planning, real property management, environmental management, natural resource management, physical geography, project management, public administration, law, business administration, or other specialization related to the position.
Or
-Successful completion of a diploma or degree in Education, Social or Health Programs. Successful completion of a degree or diploma in Indigenous Education, Health or Social Program. Other related studies and experience will be considered in the context of providing Indigenous education, health and social programs

Degree equivalency

Experience:
-Experience negotiating in relation to projects or initiatives to achieve shared objectives.
-Experience interpreting and/or applying legislation, regulations or policy.
-Experience in the administration, negotiation, monitoring and compliance of real property dispositions.
-Experience managing First Nation reserve lands.
-Experience working in the provision of Indigenous education, social or health programs and providing service directly to First Nation clients.
-Experience working directly with First Nation families and providing services.
