The intent of the process is anticipatory for an 18 month specified period position. A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff permanent and temporary vacancies within the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Maritimes’ Conservation and Protection Regional offices located in Dartmouth, NS.

- Experience in providing advice, guidance or recommendations to clients or management

- Experience in the preparation or review of Affidavits

- Experience in the interpretation of fisheries-related Acts and Regulations
- Experience in writing documents, such as investigative reports or court documents
Operational Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to work overtime hours on occasions
- May be required to perform stand-by duties on a 24/7 basis
Secret security clearance
- Occasionally travel for meetings and field work
- Required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
