Intent of the process

This process will be used to establish a pool of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various official language proficiencies (Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB, English of French Essential, English Essential), various security profiles (Reliability Status, Secret), various tenures (Indeterminate, Temporary) using various staffing mechanisms (Indeterminate appointment, Term appointment, Acting appointment, Deployment, Secondment, Assignment) and in various locations (Ottawa, Gatineau) at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
ED1) High school diploma.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
E1) Experience in accounting operations.
E2) Experience in using Excel and Outlook or a similar software.
E3) Significant* experience in customer service;
E4) Recent** experience in working with a financial system software; (SAP, ORACLE, Intuit, etc.)

* "Significant" is defined as the depth and breadth of experience associated with the performance of a broad range of related activities which were the candidate's primary work responsibilities and for a period of approximately of twelve (12) months.
** "Recent" is defined as experience normally acquired within the last three (3) years.

ABILITY:

AEX3) Recent* experience in issuing Financial Signing Authority (FSA) Records.
AEX4) Recent* and significant** experience in debt recovery.
AEX5) Recent* experience as a client service representative in a call centre.
AEX6) Recent* experience in the management of vendor databases.
AEX7) Recent* experience in the working with a loan program.

OPERATIONALS REQUIREMENT:
Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance - This factor is not used at the prescreening stage. The hiring department is responsible for the security clearance process.
