The Principal Publisher (PP) is the central governing body overseeing the design, structure, analytics and quality of Canada.ca. PP is responsible for the daily operation of the website including the provision of support services for approved GC initiatives, including but not limited to: Managed Web Services, Hosted Internet Search Solution, Social Media Account Management, Web Analytics, and mobile applications.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary education program from a recognized educational institution in computer science, information technology, information management, business administration or another specialty relevant to the position(s) being staffed, OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience*.
*For example, two years of Web-related experience on a continuing basis with a secondary school diploma and training relevant to the position to staff.
EXPERIENCES
Experience in developing and providing advice to managers or above.
Experience participating in and maintaining collaborative working relationships with clients, partners and/or stakeholders.
Experience in the identification and analysis of government and/or private sector business-related Web and/or IT requirements of clients, partners and/or stakeholders.
Experience in consulting with managers or above to develop Web and/or IT related approaches and strategies.
Experience in preparing, planning and briefing materials such as briefing notes, reports, and/or business cases.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Degree from a recognized university
ITIL certification.
Project management certification/PMP.
EXPERIENCES
Experience in project management.
Experience in coordinating and overseeing technical testing activities of technical/publishing platforms.
Experience in social media account management and/or mobile technologies.
Experience in product management and/or vendor management.
Experience in coordinating or leading communities of practice and/or working groups.
Experience customer service management (e.g. managing a service desk).
Experience in supervising employees and managing employees’ performance.
