Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff similar positions within the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) with various tenures (Indeterminate, specified period, acting), various bilingual language requirements and various security requirements.

EDUCATION :

A secondary school diploma, or acceptable combination of education, training and experience

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE :

Experience participating in the coordination, planning and implementation of Information Management (IM) projects.
Experience participating in the assessment and analysis of Information Management effectiveness.
Experience reviewing and initiating end user requests to applications and systems.
Experience working in partnership with IT Stakeholders or IT specialists.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCES :

- Experience participating actively in Working Groups relating to Information Management.
- Experience managing IT Hardware/Software such as, but not limited to: USB Keys, Blackberry, cellular and software.
- Experience using and working with GCDOCS.
- Experience in managing Information Management projects
- Experience delivering GCDOCS training

Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

Information on language requirements

KNOWLEDGE :

- Knowledge of principle, techniques and processes of IM.
- Knowledge of the Government Security Policy relating to IM.
- Knowledge of the Library and Archives retention periods.
