Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within National Defense with various tenures (assignment, secondment, acting, specified period or indeterminate) as well as various security requirements and various linguistic profiles.

Please take note that despite the locations specified, this process could be used to fill positions in other locations across Canada.

E1 - Experience working in a commercial, institutional or food service setting as well as preparing the meals.

ACERT1 - Proof of certification in a recognized field such as WHMIS, health, hygiene or safety

ACERT2 - Valid Food Handlers Course – Food Safe Level

AE1 - Experience managing and supervising a food service

Conditions of employment

• Must be able to lift and carry objects (maximum of 20 kg/44 lbs)
• Must be able stand for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to work shift schedule including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with safety regulations
