Providing contracting and purchasing services for managers, staff and the organization for operational goods and services of low to medium risk and dollar values such as equipment, furniture, office supplies, Temporary Help Services, rentals, standard maintenance and repair, professional services through the use of purchase orders, standing offer agreements, supply arrangements, acquisition card, and requisitions to Public Service Procurement Canada.
In consultation with clients, identifying procurement options, processes and tools and making recommendations regarding same; assisting with the development of statements of work, specifications and evaluation of quotes or bids.
Preparing and amending purchase orders, contracts, and call-ups in consultation with clients and obtaining signatures as required. Recording and maintaining procurement actions in an integrated financial management and asset tracking system.
Providing Asset and Materiel Management services, controlling inventory, preparing orders to renew inventory, and administering fleet management services including maintenance, scheduling, fleet cards and reporting.
Controlling and maintaining automated Asset Inventory System(s) and providing Asset Life Cycle Management.
IOGC is located away from Calgary's downtown core at the west end of Anderson Road on Tsuu T'ina First Nation lands.
This is a full-time indeterminate position. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar term and/or indeterminate positions.

IOGC is an organization committed to managing and regulating oil and gas resources on First Nation reserve lands. It is a special operating agency within Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada. IOGC is responsible for the administration of oil and gas resources on First Nation reserve lands across Canada, primarily south of the 60th parallel. Most of IOGC's work is in Western Canada in the area of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin.
