This is an anticipatory staffing process designed to create a pool of qualified candidates. This pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions on a term and/or permanent basis.

Successful completion of secondary school education according to provincial/territorial standards or an employer alternative such as an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience in providing advice, support and recommendations to clients.
Experience organizing and delivering training (individual or group).
Recent* Experience using a policing operational records management system (example: PROS, Versadex, PAT, PIRS, PRIME, etc.)
*Recent is having the experience acquired within the last three (3) years.

Candidates from outside the federal public service will be required to pay for their own travel (including travel for assessment purposes), and may be required to pay for their own relocation expenses.
All applicants for positions within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be subject to a thorough security clearance process which includes an interview wherein questions may include (but not limited to), reference checks, previous employment, on-line activities, credit checks, alcohol and/or drug use.
A random and/or top down selection of candidates may be used in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the assessment process.
