There are three different occupations you can apply for:

The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) owns and operates the federal government's civilian fleet, and provides key maritime services to Canadians. As a Special Operating Agency of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), the CCG helps DFO meet its responsibility to ensure safe and accessible waterways for Canadians. The CCG also plays a key role in ensuring the sustainable use and development of Canada's oceans and waterways.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada across Canada with various language requirements and various security requirements. These positions may be of different tenures.

A secondary school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or training and/or experience.
ALL STREAMS:
Experience in the management or support to the management of financial resources.
Experience in human resource management such as experience in supervision, staffing processes, evaluating employee performance and work planning for the unit.
Experience in providing advice on operational matters both orally and in writing.
Experience engaging, or consulting with clients or stakeholders or providing services to a client or stakeholders group.
ALL STREAMS:
Post-secondary education or certification in a field relevant to the position.
ALL STREAMS:
Experience working in or in support of a marine environment.
Experience in developing, advising, delivering or having an oversight responsibility within a Life Cycle Management System/ Program with one or more of the following elements:
• supply chain management;
• maintenance management;
• configuration management;
• technical data management.

STREAM 1 - Supervisor, Technical Data/Configuration Management:
Experience in the use of one or more of the following software packages:
Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Geographic Information System (GIS)
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or
other similar specialized systems to be specified by the candidate.
STREAM 2 - Supervisor, Asset Management System:
Experience in the use of Asset Management Software such as Maximo, SAP or DRIMS.
STREAM 2: Experience in developing or delivering technical training courses or material.
STREAM 3 - Supervisor, Supply Chain:
Experience in planning, organizing or controlling the provision of materiel services for a diverse and complex range of materiel assets.
ALL STREAMS:
Knowledge of Life Cycle Asset Management practices and principles.
STREAM 1 - Supervisor, Technical Data/Configuration Management:
Knowledge of technical drawing fundamentals.
Knowledge of information management fundamentals.
STREAM 2 - Supervisor, Asset Management System:
Knowledge of principles and practices in the use of computerized maintenance management systems.
STREAM 3 - Supervisor, Supply Chain:
Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices for the provision of warehousing, storage and distribution.
