The Executive Assistant to the Regional Director (Atlantic) is responsible for key administrative duties in the Atlantic Regional Office. This includes the following activities: assisting in the planning and coordination of the Regional Director’s agenda and facilitating meetings on behalf of the Regional Director; coordinating administrative services that involve travel, finance, human resources and information management; and maintaining effective working relationships with officials in other Branches, other government departments, non-government organizations and stakeholders.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Experience* managing deadlines, events, projects or workflow for others.
Experience* providing administrative support services to senior management including: managing schedules; making travel arrangements; organizing meetings and events; preparation of meeting notes; and document preparation and information management.
Experience* performing various administrative duties including: creating and maintaining databases; conducting research; and drafting correspondence.
Experience* providing financial support services (such as: payment of invoices, tracking of expenditures or account reconciliation).
Experience* providing support to clients and stakeholders by analyzing and responding to their enquiries.
*Experience is defined by the depth and breadth of experience generally acquired through the performance of duties regularly (daily or weekly) for a minimum period of one (1) year during the most recent five (5) years.
