The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is looking for talented candidates to fill various administrative support services positions at the CR-03 and CR-04 groups and levels. THIS PROCESS WILL BE USED TO FILL TEMPORARY POSITIONS: TERM, CASUAL, ACTING, AND SEASONAL POSITIONS ONLY.
Candidates may be evaluated further, for specific opportunities, on qualifications that are deemed necessary, whether or not the qualifications have been identified on the statement of merit criteria for this selection process. If you qualify in this selection process, you will be placed in a pool of qualified candidates accessible to all hiring managers who have vacancies to fill.

EDUCATION COMMON TO ALL CR-03 and CR-04 POSITIONS:
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives
The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are:
- A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; or
- An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE COMMON TO ALL CR-03 and CR-04 POSITIONS:
EX1: Experience providing clerical or administrative support services.
EX2: Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience providing accounting or financial support services.
Experience providing support services in the management of projects.
Experience providing administrative support services to senior management.
Experience providing mailroom support services (e.g. pick-up, delivery and sorting of mail, messenger services).
Experience organizing meetings, teleconferences, videoconferences, information sessions or events.
Experience preparing and coordinating travel arrangements.
Experience using a correspondence tracking system.
Experience using an electronic document management system.
Experience in the capture, retrieval, compilation, manipulation or archiving of data using computer software or systems.
Experience working in an enforcement or security organization.
Experience inputting, extracting and reconciling financial transactions with an SAP equivalent financial system (e.g. Corporate Administrative System (CAS)).
Experience using SAP/CAS software.
Experience working with mainframe systems or databases such as Integrated Customs Enforcement System (ICES) or Integrated Customs System (ICS).
Experience processing of import or export documentation.
Experience with cash/cashier handling duties.
Experience working in Human Resources.
Experience using MS Word.
Experience using MS PowerPoint.
Experience using MS Access.
Experience using MS Outlook.
Experience using MS Excel.
Experience using an electronic filing system.
Experience using advanced MS Excel functionalities (e.g. macro, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.).
ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS:
