This process will initially be used to staff one position on an indeterminate basis. A qualified pool of candidates may be established and used to staff this position and similar positions on an acting, term or indeterminate basis.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in education, linguistics, sociology, psychology, mathematics, physics, home economics or some other specialty relevant to the positions in the classification.
Note:
1.When education is required, candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

*Significant experience in at least two of the following:
Instructional program design
Instructional program development
Instructional program analysis and/or
Instructional program evaluation.
Experience working in a training or education environment.
Experience teaching adult learners.
Experience providing information, advice and guidance to senior management and staff.
Significant* experience establishing and maintaining working relationships with internal or external partners/stakeholders.
* Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with performing these duties full-time for a period of 2 years.
Graduation with an Education degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Graduation with a Master’s degree in Education from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Completion of Mental Health First Aid
Completion of the course Road to Mental Readiness (R2MR)
Experience providing advice to management on matters related to program, product or tool development in the field of mental health.
Experience in development of eLearning.
