Duties

Provide SAP training, support, coaching and end-user support nationally to employees of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Natural Resources Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada and associated agencies including; Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Canadian Dairy Commission, and Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency.

The ideal candidate can easily adapt to new ways of working in a training services setting. They are flexible when it comes to travel and mobility between training facilities, videoconferencing, and comfortable working in a virtual environment.

Work environment

The work location for this position is in the National Capital Region, on the Central Experimental Farm, building 34 near the Carling Avenue and Maple Drive intersection.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience related to the position.

Degree equivalency

Experience in designing, developing and modifying documentation and reference materials.
Experience providing interactive or demo style training to users.
Experience using Microsoft® Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience in delivering presentations to diverse audiences.

Experience in writing training materials as well as developing e-learning courses.
Experience creating training material or editing documents using either RWD InfoPak or ANCILE uPerform.
Experience in identifying and analyzing end user needs and requirements.
Experience in providing follow-up training support to users.

Knowledge and/or experience using SAP.

Second language evaluation (SLE) :
If you have valid SLE results, you will be asked to provide proof.
If you need to be retested (reading, writing or oral) you will be scheduled.
If you have never had a second language evaluation, you will be scheduled for the reading and writing tests. If you are successful on the reading and writing then you will be scheduled for an oral evaluation.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
