Intent of the process

The intent of the selection process is to create a pool of qualified candidates to staff future term, Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB positions with a RCMP Top secret security clearance. The position is located at 155 McArthur Ave, Ottawa.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Should a Public Servant employee be found qualified and selected for appointment, notification regarding the PS appointment will be posted accordingly on https://www.canada.ca/en/public-service-commission/jobs/services/gc-jobs.html.

A secondary School Diploma or employer-approved alternative*

* Employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are defined as a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience**

**acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience must consist of at least 2 of the following:
Education: successful completion of two years of secondary school and/or Training: successful completion of acceptable level of training courses and/or Experience: a minimum of 2 years work experience

Degree equivalency

Experience using a computer with word processing software and spreadsheet software

Experience in analyzing information, data or reports

Experience applying the Criminal Code, such as Part VI pertaining to the interception of telecommunications

Experience working as an Intercept Monitor Analyst using the Central Communication Intercept System (CenCIS)

Experience working on a RCMP project where the safety of a person or a matter of national security has been identified

Ability to transcribe or summarize audio and/or text from one or more foreign languages into English
