The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is the federal government agency responsible for administering sentences of a term of two years or more, as imposed by the court. CSC is responsible for managing institutions of various security levels and supervising offenders under conditional release in the community.
Note on position locations :
This process is for anticipatory needs. These positions are currently located in Laval. Consideration may be given to successful candidates within commuting distances some to institutions in the Quebec Region, for example, located in or near : Cowansville, Drummondville, La Macaza, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, etc.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in environmental sciences or some other science (Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, Biology, etc.) relevant to the position.
* Degree : Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., Master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in conducting investigative studies or compliance monitoring, and reporting on findings
Experience in implementing guidelines, procedures, or action plans on environmental issues
Experience in monitoring the application of laws and regulations pertaining to environmental activities
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Graduation with a Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Environmental Sciences
EXPERIENCE
Experience in developing and implementing policies or procedures on environmental issues
Experience in environmental project management
Experience in delivering information sessions
Various language requirements
