The intent of the process is to staff immediately one indeterminate position, Bilingual - Imperative (CCB/CCB) in Gatineau (Québec).
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and used to staff similar positions in Environment and Climate Change Canada with various tenures (Term, Assignment, Secondment, Acting, Indeterminate, Deployment).

Education:
Successful completion of an acceptable post-secondary educational program or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
(E1) Experience in maintaining and posting content to the Internet or intranet using a content management system.
(E2) Recent** experience* in using publication tools, such as Adobe Design Suite, to create graphics, charts and other communications products.
(E3) Experience writing and performing quality control of documents relating to web publishing and/or communications products.
* Experience indicates an accumulation of 1- years work experience within the last 3 years.
** Recent experience is experience gained less than a year ago.
Education:
(AEd1) – Successful completion of an acceptable post-secondary educational program with a specialization in communication, graphic design or some other field relevant to the position.
Experience:
(AE1) – Experience in maintaining and posting content in Adobe Experience Manager.
(AE2) – Experience in reviewing and adapting Web content to ensure it meets Government of Canada usability and accessibility requirements.
(AE3) – Experience in planning, coordinating and developing PDF publications.
(AE4) – Experience using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
(AE5) – Experience in gathering and interpreting Web analytics.
(AE6) – Experience in developing a social media strategy.

(K1) Knowledge of Government of Canada's Communications Policy, Web Content Accessibility Standards, and related regulations, guidelines and directives.
