When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.

Your application to this inventory will be active for 120 days. A notice will be posted to the "My jobs menu" of your account 30 days before your application expires. If you do not renew your application, it will become inactive and you will no longer be considered in the inventory. If you let your application expire, another notice will be posted to your account indicating that your application has expired; you will be able to select the link "Update my Inventory Status" to reaffirm your interest and reactivate your application.

PROCESS APPROACH:

As various positions will be filled from this inventory, a complete Statement of merit criteria (list of qualifications) is not provided at this time. The criteria listed are those requirements to be met for entry into the inventory and for Casual Employment.

If you are interested in being considered for Term positions, please indicate your interest when completing your application. Should you be contacted for further consideration, the hiring manager will provide a copy of the complete Statement of Merit Criteria for the position being filled. At that time, you may be required to provide additional information to be used for screening and assessment. The merit criteria may be assessed each time using a variety of assessment methods in accordance with the position requirements.

HOW TO APPLY:

You will be required to meet the essential qualifications (i.e. education and experience) by answering online screening questions. You must provide concrete and detailed examples to clearly demonstrate how you meet the listed requirements. The screening board cannot make any assumptions about your experience. It is not sufficient to say that you have the required qualifications or to list your current duties. One effective approach would be to write one or two paragraphs demonstrating that you have the required experience and ensure that clear and accurate details are provided.

The information you provide on your described skills, experience, etc. in your answers to the screening questions should be supported by your resume.
