The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) owns and operates the federal government's civilian fleet, and provides key maritime services to Canadians.
As a Special Operating Agency of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), the CCG helps DFO meet its responsibility to ensure safe and accessible waterways for Canadians. The CCG also plays a key role in ensuring the sustainable use and development of Canada's oceans and waterways.
Anticipatory - A pool of qualified candidates will be created and will be used to staff similar permanent and temporary positions at the Canadian Coast Guard College in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in physics, chemistry, mathematics or some other specialty relevant to the positions.
EXPERIENCE:
* Significant experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
* Significant is normally associated to at least 3 years of experience.
ASSET EDUCATION:
Post-graduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution that is relevant to the position.
Graduation with a degree from a post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in education.
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a relevant specialization in physics.
