PRE-SCREENING QUESTIONS: The pre-screening questions MUST be completed when applying for this selection process. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and used to staff similar positions within Employment and Social Development Canada in the National Capital Region with various position titles and security requirements.

Education:
For both streams (AS-01 and AS-02):
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training or experience.
Experience:
For both streams (AS-01 and AS-02) :
E1-Experience in performing administrative services.
E2-Experience in using software applications for word processing, spreadsheets and email.
E3-Experience gathering, consolidating or analyzing data from various sources.
Stream 2 (AS-02) :
E4-Significant* experience in performing administrative services.
E5-Experience in two of the following four activity:
o Experience in managing a budget, including monitoring expenditures, encoding payments or paying invoices.
o Experience in organizing meetings or events or travel arrangements.
o Experience in coordinating or working with human resources related paperwork.
o Experience in reviewing, editing or coordinating various administrative documents.
E6-Experience in providing services to internal and/or external clients.
*Significant is normally associated with the breadth and depth of experience acquired over a continuous period of two years.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
For both streams (AS-01 and AS-02):
AE1-Experience in working with a tracking sofware (i.e. Webcims/CCM Mercury).
AE2-Experience preparing parliamentary question responses or Access to Information and Privacy responses.
AE3-Experience in managing, inputting and extracting information and/or data in an integrated financial system such as SAP/SIGMA.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
