Cyber and IT Security’s Engineering and Integration team is a dynamic, skilled team of individuals at the forefront of Infrastructure Security’s program delivery. We are a multi-faceted project driven team focusing on network based security technologies.
We are looking for strong, self-sufficient, communicative and organized team players within the Solutions Integration team to work towards accomplishing our deliverables.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
Notes:
1. Indeterminate period incumbents of positions in the CS group on May 10, 1999, who do not possess the education prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standards based on their education, training and/or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum education standard whenever this standard is called for when staffing positions in the CS group.
2. It is the recognized educational institution (e.g. community college, CÉGEP or university) that determines if the courses taken by a candidate correspond to two years of a post-secondary program at the institution.
3. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may serve as an alternative to the minimum post-secondary education stated above. Whenever the minimum education is met using this alternative, it is met for the specific position only and must be re-assessed for other positions for which this alternative has been specified by the manager.
EXPERIENCE
EA1. Significant* and Recent** experience designing, implementing, configuring and administering Network Security IT infrastructure in a complex enterprise environment.
EA2. Significant* and Recent** experience working with multi-vendor network security IT infrastructure - for example but not limited to:
i.) Layer 2 and layer 3 firewalls.
ii.) Intrusion Detection/Prevention Service (IDPS)
iii.) URL Filtering
iv.) SSL/TLS intercept
v.) Proxy
vi.) Web application firewall (WAF)
vii.) Virtual hypervisor based security
viii.) Sandbox Appliances
ix.) Virtual Private Networks (site to site and remote access)
x.) Network Access Control (NAC)
xi.) Cloud based infrastructure
EA3. Significant* and Recent** experience designing and documenting security solutions and operational processes from client requirements using multiple products from multiple vendors.
EA4. Significant* and Recent** experience leading the design and development of security solutions in a multi-disciplinary team.
Definitions:
* “Significant” is described as three (3) or more years of combined experience.
** “Recent” means the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of complex related activities within the last five (5) years.
