Do you like a challenge when you come to work? If so, the position of a Benefits Analyst could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will receive a high volume of incoming calls from our clients and stakeholders in a fast paced call centre environment. Due to the high volume of requests you will learn how to prioritize your day as you will have continuous interruptions, responding to inquiries over the phone and processing fax requests. This could be an opportunity for you to develop new skills and further develop skills you already have; such skills include attention to detail, improved computer skills, communication skills, conflict management, workload management and prioritization.
Non-Insured Health Benefits is a unit of Indigenous Services Canada which is the Federal department responsible for helping First Nations and Inuit people of Canada to maintain and improve their health, while respecting individual choices and circumstances.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar, term and/or permanent positions, acting, assignments/secondments, or deployments.
The intent is to staff via the Aboriginal Peoples Employment Program, which aims to strategically increase Aboriginal representation within First Nations and Inuit Health Branch. As such, Organizational Needs may be applied and first consideration may be given to candidates self-identifying as belonging to Aboriginal peoples.
