We are currently looking for a dynamic, dedicated and innovative employee to be part of the growing Audiovisual team that will directly support our future.
The Canada School of Public Service is a small organization (approx. 600 employees). Through it's mandate, it plays a key role in all departments of the federal public service and provides it's employees with a workplace where Learning and Professional development are valued.
The School's employees occupy the following buildings in the National Capital Region:
- Asticou centre, 241 Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard, Gatineau, QC
- LaSalle Academy, 373 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, ON
Anticipatory process to staff one (1) position at the Canada School of Public Service. The position is bilingual imperative CBC/CBC. A pool of qualified candidates resulting from this process will be established and may be used to fill similar positions with various tenures and various linguistic requirements at the School and in other organisations within the core public administration.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
EXPERIENCES
Significant* and recent** experience planning, managing, and coordinating audio-visual services for various sized events including senior management events.
Significant* experience in planning, coordinating, and managing human and financial resources.
Significant* and recent** experience planning and managing the procurement and contracting of vendors for audiovisual equipment.
Significant* experience in project management.
* Significant will be evaluated in terms of the amount, complexity and diversity of work handled which would normally be acquired over a period of three (3) years.
** Recent is defined as experience acquired within the last five (5) years.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Certification or diploma in an audiovisual related field.
AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
Experience in providing audiovisual support or services in an educational environment.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of technical set up for conference rooms.
Knowledge of audiovisual (A/V) and television broadcasting systems.
