The immediate need is two (2) bilingual imperative CBC/CBC position located in Ottawa, Ontario.
However, a pool of partially-qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures, language requirements and security requirements. All federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act may use this staffing process to appoint a candidate to its organization in a similar position if a pool is created.

Stream A : Senior Analyst, Business Planning and Analysis

EDUCATION - Streams A & B
EDU - A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience in a field relevant to the position.
EXPERIENCE - Streams A & B
EX1 - Experience interpreting administrative OR financial policies.
EX2 - Experience in liaising and consulting with various stakeholders.
EX3 - Significant** experience providing administrative support.
EXPERIENCE - Stream A
EX4a - Recent* and significant** experience budgeting, forecasting and consolidating financial data for Director (or above) decision making.
EX5a - Experience in retrieving data from automated data or an Enterprise Resource Planning System (such as SAP or Oracle).
EX6a - Experience in preparing financial reports at the intent of the Director (or above).
EXPERIENCE - Stream B
EX4b - Recent* and significant* experience in managing the office of Director Level (or above).
EX5b - Experience editing briefing notes at the intent of the Director (or above).
* Recent experience is defined as within the previous five (5) years.
** Significant experience is defined as two (2) years of experience.
EDUCATION - Streams A & B
AEDU1 - Successful completion of two (2) years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program relevant to the position to be staffed.
AEDU2 - Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
EXPERIENCE - Streams A & B
AEX1 - Experience with cost recovery in the Federal Government.
AEX2 - Experience in Procurement for IT goods or services.
AEX3 - Experience in performing a variety of activities for the preparation of multi-year investment plans, including strategic and financial, and project prioritization.
AEX4 -Experience in financial management including both operating and capital fiscal planning cycles.
AEX5 - Experience in providing HR management services.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Streams A & B
Willingness and Ability to work occasional overtime as required.
