Intent of the process

A pool of fully qualified candidates will be established and may be used by other Correctional Service Canada sectors or divisions to staff identical or similar positions with various language requirements in the National Headquarter (NHQ) region. These positions may be staffed on a permanent or temporary basis.

Completion of a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

*Recent and significant experience reviewing and challenging documents to ensure their accuracy and compliance with established organizational policies and procedures.

*Recent is defined as within the last 3 years and significant is defined as approximately 1 cumulatif year.

Recent and significant experience preparing summaries and reports for management (such as forecasts, reporting on deliverables/projects etc.).

*Recent and significant experience working with multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups.

*Recent and significant experience gathering and analysing information from various sources.

*Recent and significant experience in delivering presentations or training.

Knowledge
All Streams:
Knowledge of the Correctional Service Canada’s programs and priorities.

Information Management Stream:
Knowledge of current Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) Information Management Policies and Directives;
Knowledge of the Information Life Cycle Management

All Streams:
Ability to plan, organize and determine priorities to meet deadlines.

Project Management Stream:
Experience assisting in the planning, development, and reporting of projects or initiatives.
Experience applying project management methodologies.

Procurement Stream:
Experience in Software Licensing Procurement activities.
Experience in tendering methodologies for a wide range of commodities and services.
Experience in financial management related to procurement.

Information Management Stream:
Recent experience working within the discipline of Information management.
Experience in preparing communication and training products (blogs, articles, guides, training modules etc).

Knowledge of business analytics: analysis methodologies and techniques


Change Management Stream:
Experience applying change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of changes required within an organization.
Experience supporting the design, development, and delivery of communications and training materials within an organization.
