Created in November 2014, the Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada (ATSSC) is responsible for providing support services and facilities to 11 federal administrative tribunals by way of a single, integrated organization.
Our offices are located in the downtown Ottawa area.
We are a young organization looking for dynamic and enthusiastic persons open to new ideas.
The intent of this process is to staff a one year term LP-01 Legal Counsel (CBC/CBC bilingual language position) and one indeterminate position (CBC/CBC bilingual language position) at the SST.
Furthermore, this process may be used to staff one or more positions at the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board and at the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada.
A fully or partially assessed pool may be created and may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various linguistic requirements, tenures and security clearances within the ATSSC.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. EDUCATION
A bachelor of law degree.
Membership in the Bar of one of the provinces or territories of Canada or in the Order of Notaries of Quebec at the time of appointment
EXPERIENCE
Experience working as an articling student, lawyer or notary (Order of Notaries in the province of Quebec) with a court or an administrative tribunal in Canada
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
