Duties

1. Provide operations management leadership for Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) staff to deliver high quality project management advisory services and support.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with EPMO’s clients including branch management teams, project offices, and projects teams.
3. Provide EPMO senior management with sound advice and guidance to support the achievement of the EPMO’s strategic outcomes.
4. Enhance ESDC’s project management capabilities by designing and implementing key EPMO initiatives.
5. Support the implementation of the Project Management Maturity Action Plan by developing and improving key processes, tools, and systems.

EDUCATION:
• A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Experience in providing strategic advice and solutions to senior management.
• Experience in human resource management.

EDUCATION:
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in Project Management or other relevant field.
• Graduation with a Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution (MBA, M.A., Project Management or other relevant field).
• Possession of a recognized professional project management certification PMP certification.
• Possession of a recognized professional project management certification (MSP or other relevant certification(s)).

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in managing financial resources.
• Experience in working with SAP as a functional analyst.
• Experience in audit and assurance review.

In the event that there are as many applicants who meet the essential qualifications as there are vacancies, the manager may decide not to assess some or all of the asset qualifications.

Top-down ranking can be used at any stage of the assessment process where only the top scoring candidates will be invited to the next stage of the assessment. Please note that different pass marks and cut-off scores can be used at various stages of the assessment process. Candidates who attain the pass mark might not be further considered in the process if they do not achieve the cut-off score.

Note that in the context of this appointment process, travelling expenses or travel expenses will not be reimbursed for acting appointments, assignments or secondment outside the headquarter area of 16 km.

For Indeterminate Staffing: Off-site work is not possible. Candidates must be willing to work in the city where the position is staffed.
