Have you worked as a Human Resources advisor in recruitment, staffing, organizational design or classification for several years and you are now looking to take on a strategic Staffing or Classification Advisor role in the federal government?

• guide and advise managers on sound human resources management practices;
• with the support of an administrative assistant, coordinate all staffing activities for your client;

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to staff indeterminate bilingual imperative CBC/CBC or BBB/BBB positions. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and used to staff similar bilingual positions across Canada within Environment and Climate Change Canada with various tenures (Term, Assignment, Secondment, Acting, Indeterminate, Deployment), which may vary according to the position being staffed.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

EX1 Recent and significant* experience in providing either recruitment/staffing services OR classification/organizational design services.
*recent and significant means approximately 3 years in the last 5 years.

EX2 Experience working in Human Resources providing strategic advice to clients in either staffing OR classification/organizational design.

EX3 Experience in providing service either in staffing OR organizational design / classification for a high volume of client requests.

Knowledge:

K1 Knowledge of current and emerging issues and trends in Human Resources.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working in Human Resources in the public sector (at any level - municipal, provincial, federal).

Experience working in a virtual environment.
