Education:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics

- The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

• Significant* experience preparing briefing materials for management**

Stream 1: Policy Analyst
• Significant* experience researching and analyzing current or emerging policy, program or economic issues and developing recommendations

• Experience consulting or collaborating with partners or stakeholders

• Experience in monitoring, analyzing and synthesizing information relating to policy, programs, performance measurements, legislation and or regulations

Stream 2: Data Analyst
• Experience preparing and providing strategic advice on quantitative trends to management**

• Experience extracting data from complex data structures and analyzing the data using software such as Excel, Cognos 10, SPSS or SAS

• Significant* experience manipulating, compiling and interpreting quantitative or statistical data.

*Significant experience is defined as experience associated with the performance of a large number of complex activities, taking into consideration the scope of duties and responsibility level normally possessed by an individual who has worked in this area for approximately two years (24 months).

**Management means Supervisor and above.
