Research assistant - Research Affiliate Program

Duties

Under the guidance of research scientists the student will compile data, make statistical analyzes and produce tables and graphs. The student could also produce a literature review.

Work environment

The Quebec Research and Development Centre have two research focuses: soil-water-air resources and field crops such as forage crops.
Specifically, the Research Centre's employees are active in the breeding and management of field crops such as forage crops for Eastern Canada. They also conduct research in areas such as the management and conservation of the soil-water-air resources. Furthermore, they develop methods of forage and cereal crops production that are consistent with a sustainable agriculture.

Must be registered to a Master’s or PhD program in plant biology or other related disciplines.

The candidate must be recognized as a full time post-secondary student in an accredited institution AND required to do a research work term in order to fulfill academic requirement.

Degree equivalency

Experience in database compilation

Experience with Software for statistical analysis of data
