Who can apply: Persons residing in Canada and Canadian citizens residing abroad and/or other students abroad eligible to apply for RAP. To be considered for Research Affiliate Program (RAP) work opportunities, you must meet the following criteria:

-Be recognized as having full-time student status by the post-secondary academic institution at which you are currently enrolled. (Proof will be required)
-Be the minimum age to work in the province or territory where the job is located.

Duties

Under the guidance of research scientists the student will compile data, make statistical analyzes and produce tables and graphs. The student could also produce a literature review.

Work environment

The Quebec Research and Development Centre have two research focuses: soil-water-air resources and field crops such as forage crops.
Specifically, the Research Centre's employees are active in the breeding and management of field crops such as forage crops for Eastern Canada. They also conduct research in areas such as the management and conservation of the soil-water-air resources. Furthermore, they develop methods of forage and cereal crops production that are consistent with a sustainable agriculture.

Must be registered to a Master’s or PhD program in plant biology or other related disciplines.

Degree equivalency
