Reporting to the Managing Director, Corporate Services, this position is accountable for directing and overseeing the operations related to the Agency’s financial planning and reporting, financial management, audit, risk management, and administrative services, including accommodations, telecommunications, purchasing and contracting, security, access to information and privacy services. As such, the incumbent is the Agency’s Departmental Security Officer, and the Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator with responsibility to assess the impact of all applicable legislative and policy requirements relevant to FCAC.

OC1 A valid recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA).
E1 Experience leading and/or managing at least four of the following functions: financial planning, external reporting, internal resource management, advisory services, accounting operations, financial systems, financial policy, costing, internal controls, risk management or audit.
E2 Experience in analyzing, managing, and/or providing strategic advice to senior officials (Executive Director, Deputy Minister and/or Minister) on policies and/or complex financial issues.
E3 Experience in managing financial and human resources.
E4 Experience in negotiating, establishing and/or maintaining effective relationships with senior management and/or key stakeholders.
