Applicants must complete the Unsupervised Internet Test of Cognitive Ability - Level 1 as part of the screening for this selection process. This test assesses general problem solving and reasoning ability. You will have 60 minutes to complete the test. You must complete the test before you submit your application for this position.

The following Public Service Commission test "General Competency Test Level 1 (GCT1) 207" will be administered. If you have already passed this written exam, PLEASE HAVE YOUR RESULTS READY TO BE SENT TO US. Invitations to the GCT1 written test will be sent by e-mail. It is your responsibility to include in your application a valid e-mail address and make sure this address is functional at all times and that it accepts messages from unknown users.
A pass mark of 35/50 is required to be considered for the CR-04 opportunity.
A pass mark of 38/50 is required to be considered for the CR-05 opportunity.
We will notify you in advance of when the testing period will take place. If you fail to keep an appointment without reasonable cause and notification, your application will no longer be considered in this process. You must keep yourself available during that testing period.
Remember: You must keep your exam appointment except under the following circumstances:
- Illness (a medical certificate will be required)
- Emergency Circumstances (must be verifiable)
You must present your proof of education and proof of Canadian citizenship at the interview.
