The results of this process will initially be used to staff this position indeterminately. A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions on an indeterminate, term, assignment, secondment or acting basis within the Public Service Commission (PSC) in the National Capital Region (NCR). This pool may be open to other federal departments within the NCR upon PSC's approval.

Certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a discipline related to the position.
Experience working in an information management services team.
Experience with the development of records classification structures or file plans.
Experience in providing coaching or training on electronic document and records management practices or systems.
Recent* experience in classifying records or documents in an electronic document/records management system.
*Recent experience is defined as within the last three (3) years.
Various language requirements
The position being staffed is bilingual imperative CBC/CBC. However, this process may be used to staff similar positions with the following language requirements: bilingual imperative BBB/BBB and CBC/CBC.
Information on language requirements
Secondary School diploma.
Experience using and providing functional support to end users on electronic document/records management systems (i.e: RDIMS, GCDOCS (Content Server) or other Enterprise Document Records Management Systems).
Experience in providing Information Management (IM) support services.
Knowledge of Information Management principles, guidelines and best practices.
Knowledge of Government of Canada directives related to Recordkeeping and Information Management.
Ability to plan and organize work and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
Ability to communicate effectively orally.

Applicants must complete the Public Service Entrance Exam: Test of Judgement Unsupervised Internet Test as part of the screening for this selection process. This test assesses the judgement required for solving problems in work-related situations. You will have 75 minutes to complete the test. You must complete the test before you submit your application for this position.
