This is an anticipatory process aiming to create a pool of qualified candidates. This pool may be used to staff positions on a term and/or permanent basis in Edmonton, Alberta.

Education: Graduation* with a degree from a recognized university, with acceptable specialization in environmental studies, environmental management, environmental sciences or some other science relevant to the position.
*Proof of eligibility to graduate in the form of a transcript or letter from the Registrar may be accepted for students who have completed their degree requirements but not yet received their diploma.
Experience:
• Experience in the field of environmental management and protection.
• Experience participating in, reviewing, and providing input to environmental impact assessments, environmental site assessments, environmental auditing, environmental protection or contaminated sites.
• Experience in administering environmental policy.

• Experience working with other federal departments, provincial, territorial or municipal governments, aboriginal groups, or industry to address complex, multi-stakeholder environmental issues.
• Experience managing federal government contracts and/or funding arrangements.
• Experience reconciling and managing a project budget.
