The Communications unit in Winnipeg, Manitoba is seeking a bright, enthusiastic and highly competent individual who is motivated by providing a high level of service quality to and on behalf of Public Servants.

Ottawa, Ontario:
The Strategic Communications unit in Ottawa, Ontario, is looking for new talent to fill future positions. When opportunities arise and to manage volume, candidates will be selected from the anticipatory pool. Intent of the process

This is an anticipatory process. The intent of the process is to establish a list of qualified candidates to fill current and future position of various tenures (term and/or indeterminate).

Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in, Journalism, Communications or other field related to the position.

Note: At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.

Degree equivalency

Experience in researching and writing a variety of communications products (such as, but not limited to, news releases, media lines, backgrounders, feature articles, as well as material for the Web and/or social media) in a deadline driven environment.
Experience in coordinating communications projects or public events.
Experience building and maintaining relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
