Intent of the process

A pool of qualified persons resulting from this process MAY be created and MAY be used to fill similar positions with linguistic profiles (bilingual imperative CBC/CBC) as well as tenures (indeterminate, deployment, acting, assignment, secondment, specified period) which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION:

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

Experience providing client service.

Experience working in an environment with high pressure or high volume.

Experience using word processing and electronic mail software, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Experience working in a monitoring or call centre.

EDUCATION:

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in criminology, sociology, psychology, law, policing, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed .

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in preparing reports based on phone conversations.

Experience working in an operational environment in the field security.

Experience working with a Distress Line, Crisis Centre or Help line.

KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of applicable legislation and policies (Corrections and Conditional
Release Act and CD 566-11).

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

Willingness and ability to work overtime.

Willingness and ability to work shifts.

(NOTE: Shift work is defined as operations covering a 24/7 period, every day
of the year. It includes weekends, evenings, overnights and statutory
holidays).

Other information

The screening board cannot make assumptions about your experience.
