Intent of the process

The initial intent is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis. Also, a pool of partially qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures within Public Services and Procurement Canada.

EDUCATION:

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives. Employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma: an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

-Experience in the coordination, planning and implementation of Department Integrated Information Management (IM) projects.
-Experience in assessing and analyzing effectiveness of Department Information Management.
-Experience managing a team.
-Experience reviewing and initiating end user requests to applications and systems.
-Experience working in partnership with IT Stakeholder or Company/Business IT specialists.

-Knowledge of the Government Security Policy relating to IM.
-Knowledge of the Library and Archives retention periods.

ASSETS:

EXPERIENCE:

-Experience in participating actively in Working Groups relating to Information Management.
-Experience managing IT Hardware/Software such as, but not limited to: USB Keys, Blackberry, cellular and software.
-Experience using and working with GCDOCS.
-Experience in managing Information Management Project.
-Experience delivering GCDOCS training.

KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of the Access to Information Act & Privacy Act

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

Willing and able to do overtime on a short notice.
