Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

EXPERIENCE:

EX1 – Recent* and significant** experience managing and/or leading, and/or coordinating IM/IT operations and/or IM/IT projects.

EX2 – Recent* and significant** experience giving advice and recommendations to management*** on technical issues and/or strategic advice regarding IM/IT services or solutions.

EX3 – Recent* and significant** experience managing and/or leading and/or coordinating human resources (ex: supervising, workload assignment & management, performance management, employee development, leaves, etc.)

**SIGNIFICANT experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience associated with having performed a broad range of complex activities related to this task, which are normally acquired over (2) years

AEXP1 - Experience in managing enterprise storage infrastructure, including Direct Access Storage (DAS) Devices, Network Attached Storage (NAS) Storage Area Network (SAN) such as Managed Storage – high-availability storage from on-line, near-line and off-line archive storage systems.
AEXP2 – Experience in managing enterprise backup infrastructure.
AEXP3 – Experience in managing enterprise Windows environments.
AEXP4 – Experience in managing enterprise Unix, Linux and/or AIX environments.
AEXP5 – Experience in managing enterprise application presentation and/or Virtual desktop infrastructure.

AEXP14 – Experience in the evaluation, implementation and delivery of large scale advanced computer technology systems, such as servers, storage, networking, operating system software and middleware.
AEXP15 - Experience optimization and performance assessment of complex scientific applications implemented on supercomputers and or high-performance clusters and or high-availability clusters.
AEXP16 – Experience leading and/or managing project activities in the delivery of a minimum of 2 IT projects focusing on the delivery of technology, business processes and/or tools, in an IT environment.

AEXP20 - Experience in Development and Production developing and implementing strategies, plans (tactical, operational) related to IM /IT programs and services.
AEXP21 - Experience in Service level management, monitoring and reporting of service levels activities and events based on the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices.
AEXP22 - Experience leading, chairing or facilitating meetings with multi-disciplined stakeholders (IT and non-IT).
AEXP23 – Significant experience managing large, enterprise-wide Information Technology contracts
