By 2018, employees of OCG-FMT will be moving to a newly renovated building at 219 Laurier in the downtown core that will meet the government’s new Workplace 2.0 concept and have Wi-Fi throughout. Employees will have access to amenities such as showers, change rooms and secure bicycle storage, allowing them to commute using Ottawa’s bike path system.

The initial intent of this process is to offer one indeterminate position.
A pool of qualified persons resulting from this process may be created and may be used to fill similar positions with linguistic profiles (english essential, bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, bilingual imperative CBC/CBC, bilingual non imperative BBB/BBB, bilingual non imperative CBC/CBC) as well as tenures (indeterminate, deployment, acting, assignment, secondment, specified period) which may vary according to the position being staffed.
This pool may be used to staff similar positions in other organizations within the core public administration (http://www.psc-cfp.gc.ca/plcy-pltq/rfli-lirf/index-eng.htm).

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Education:
A secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experiences:
-Recent and significant experience* in the utilization of an Enterprise Resource Planning (i.e. SAP, Oracle) system;
-Experience in analyzing problems and providing follow-up solutions;
-Recent* experience working in a client service environment;
-Experience in the use of spreadsheets and word processing software and email applications (MS Word, Excel and Outlook);
-Experience in oral and written communication with a client base
-* Recent and significant experience refers to an experience acquired when the candidate performs the duties within the past 2 years.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

Knowledges:
-Knowledge of Analysis and follow up, business processes;
-Knowledge of the Financial Administration Act (FAA).

Experiences:
-Experience working with a financial reporting system such as Cognos BI (Business Intelligence);
-Experience in testing and validating system changes;

Organizational Needs:
-Treasury Board Secretariat employees affected by workforce adjustment may be appointed before persons employed by other government organizations;

Reliability Status security clearance
If this process is for an acting appointment, the Public Service Employment Regulations allow a federal government organization to exclude an appointee from having the official language proficiency indicated in the job advertisement. Exclusion from this requirement can occur when the department is unable to fill a position with a candidate who meets the language proficiency indicated for the position. We encourage all interested candidates to apply, as candidates who do not meet the specified language proficiency may still be considered.
